Junior Jammers Youth Foundation

The Grand Rapids JUNIOR JAMMERS Youth Foundation was established to empower, support and educate local inner-city boys and girls in ACADEMICS and ATHLETICS.

OUR PRIMARY GOAL is simple: Guiding boys and girls to success in the classroom and on the ‘court of life’—through interaction with PRO ATHLETES in a positive and fun environment.

The JUNIOR JAMMERS enable Grand Rapids Flight players to serve as ROLE MODELS while visiting our schools, hosting free instructional clinics and working with other local agencies to fulfill our mission to be a POSITIVE INFLUENCE on young fans.

Already this year, over 500 boys and girls have attended our free basketball clinics.

Your tax-deductible donation directly benefits deserving boys and girls in our community as well as other local agencies that offer similar youth support. A gift of any amount will help to ensure that Flight players can continue to be strong role models and a positive influence on kids in the greater Grand Rapids area.

How We Serve the Community
•  Speaking at schools to encourage scholarship and literacy

•  Donating game tickets to groups and youth organizations
•  Supporting the mission of other youth-centered programs through various partnerships
